Here is the house the children stayed in (with their monitors) - girls downstairs and boys upstairs. All the staff have commented how well behaved the children have been (with good manners), and that it has been a pleasure to have them here.
After a very good night´s sleep the children said that they were sad to be going home today and wanted to stay longer as they were having so much fun! Después de una magnífica noche y dormir estupendamente...Los alumnos desean quedarse unos días más porque dicen lo están pasando genial. Breakfast 21st, horses, archery & zip-wire Desayuno del día 21, equitación, tiro en arco y tirolina.21/6/2017 After preparing beds children went to do their activities. Preparan sus habitaciones y realizan gran variedad de actividades. We were all very excited to be going on our trip! Some of us sang songs and others played games or slept. Year 5 put a lot of effort and thought into their work. They designed and made their inventions, explained how they worked, typed up their explanations in Word to present to the Dragon's Den panel along with a persuasive advert and a plan for a brief pitch. We had very diverse inventions including: a massage chair operated by dogs; a taco duck feeding machine; a happiness machine; a time and dimension transporter; an automated pet feeder; feeding machines for adults; a solar powered car to do your chores; an environmentally-friendly boat which cleans the ocean; a fighting robot; shoes to walk on water; clothes for polar bears to attract fish and help them to feed; a Pokemon hatching machine; a multi-function alarm clock; a magic football; a solar powered pencil case which can organise your things and find you the correct pen to use; and a special bed. The Dragon's Den panel whittled the inventions down to their top five before deciding on their overall winner (considering functionality and costs as well as persuasion of the pitch). |
